This t-shirt design features a family of elegant cranes depicted by Ten Bills artist Richard Anderson who also goes by the name FlapTraps. Though cranes are not known for their physical prowess, they have been able to survive for centuries through cleverness and cooperation. Ancient philosophers studied families of cranes and gained much wisdom by observing their ways of interacting with one another. For instance, when groups of cranes sleep, they will take turns to keep watch. This crane will hold a rock in one foot while on duty so that if it falls asleep, it will drop the rock and wake itself up in order to continue watch.
